Feeling thirsty? Beer lovers can hop on a self-guided tour of Missoula’s local breweries. Montana ranks second in the nation for craft breweries per capita and Missoula plays host to the popular Brewfest every May in Caras Park. Try the bison-shaped tasting tray at Nation Brewery and listen to live music on the patio at Draught Works.

For a glimpse into Missoula’s fascinating past, visit the Historical Museum at Fort Missoula. Built on the remains of one of Montana’s first military forts, the museum unveils the history of the townsfolk, settlers and soldiers.
